FIS wishes to express a big thank you to the Organisers of World Snow Day 2015 who have contributed to bringing children to the snow in so many creative ways.

The international sports marketing company Infront Sports & Media has secured a number of comprehensive media rights agreements with Austrian public service national broadcaster ORF.

Sergey Korol, General Director of the Russian Ski Association and Vice President of the Russian Freestyle Federation, passed away on 21st March 2015 unexpectedly at the age of 58.

Infront Sports & Media has secured a comprehensive media rights agreement for the 2019 and 2021 FIS Alpine and Nordic World Ski Championships - providing television coverage across the German market on ARD and ZDF.

The deadline of 1st April 2015 to submit FIS Solidarity Applications is fast approaching.

From 24th March to 1st April 2015, the FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships are showcasing over 300 talented youngsters from 27 countries in Chiesa/Valmalenco (ITA). It is the fourth consecutive time that the experienced Organisers are hosting the prestigious event.

FIS is partnering with Audi to bring children to the snow and since December 2013 World Snow Day and SnowKidz Toolkits have been distributed to Organisers.

In the packed last week of the World Cup, many athletes excelled and gave the audience some amazing last performances to take into the summertime.

Marit Bjoergen of Norway capped off her incredible season with her 5th Holmenkollen 30 km victory.

In glorious spring weather, the first day of the FIS Youth Cup in Trondheim was concluded with wins of Norway’s Benjamin Østvold, Finland’s Wille Karhumaa and in the first-ever Ladies Nordic Combined competition for girls on now for Austria’s Lisa Eder and Timna Moser.
