The international ski jumping family mourns the loss of Jouko "Jokkeri" Toermaenen, who passed away in the night from Friday to Saturday in Central Hospital in Rovaniemi (FIN) at age 60.

The first competition of this season's 4-Hills-Tournament is history, now the tour continues via Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck to Bischofshofen.

Good news also for the third level of the Nordic Combined sport: the cancelled Alpencup weekend in Seefeld has been rescheduled to take place at the Tyrolean venue during the beginning of January.

The first competition of the 63rd 4-Hills-Tournament in Oberstdorf had to be canceled today due to strong wind and heavy snowfall.

The Champion is back on top! Nordic Combined superstar Jason Lamy Chappuis had a great weekend at Ramsau am Dachstein and returned to the to the top of the podium, exactly one year after winning his last World Cup at Schonach in December 2013
