The mission of FIS SnowKidz Organiser NANANordic is to introduce Cross-Country Skiing to rural Alaska through a sustainable Nordic ski programme.

The seventh Alliance race and the final of the second edition of the Ski Team Sweden Roll cup became a great success when the contest was recently held in Trollhättan, Sweden last Saturday. In addition, a fantastic TV broadcast of the event and the over 1,000 participants were the best possible advertising for cross-country skiing.

The Kangaroo Hoppet (42km skating technique) will be happening for the 24th time in Falls Creek, Victoria on August 23. The Hoppet OC has received over 1000 entries from 24 countries for this year's event.

While the winter sports world is just starting to emerge from its summer slumber, the summer sports are in full swing, as one of the largest events of the year got underway on 16th August.
