With the Hockey World Championship Final pre-Olympic competitions finished.

For more than two months different competitions took place at Sochi: 21 international competitions, World Championships are among them. They were organized by more than 2600 employees of the Organizing Committee Sochi-2014 and about 5 000 volunteers. 2800 athletes took part in the competitions which were broadcasted by 1200 representatives of broadcasting companies and 1500 journalists, more than 100 thousand people visited the events.
