Candidates for the Olympic team of Germany were announced at a ceremony at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Germany.

The event was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Berlin. 19 candidates for the German national team squad where present at the ceremony.

The Ambassador of Russia Vladimir Grinin: “The coming Olympics is not just a super-mega-project in contemporary Russia, but it’s a huge stimul for the development of the whole region. In other words Sochi is a part of the national strategy of modernization of Russia”.
