FIS Telemark World Championships off to a great start
The 10th FIS Telemark World Championships opened in Steamboat Springs (USA) on 23rd February in spectacular style with an impressive team walk through to the main square at the foot of Mt. Werner.
24th February saw the first races take place with four amazing Telemark sprint races on Howelsen Hill. Both senior and junior championship races were hard fought with the favourites in both men’s and ladies’ senior races Tobias Mueller (GER) and Amelie Reymond (SUI) proving difficult to move from the top perch.
Ladies’ sprint

Men’s sprint
