Cross-Country Skiing: Novak and Mannima win FIS Marathon Cup
The FIS Marathon Cup has crowned the world’s best long distance Cross-Country skiers at the Ugra Ski Marathion (RUS) on 11th April. Tatiana Mannima (EST) and Petr Novak (CZE) claimed the titles of overall champions.

Novak won the Cup with 442 points ahead of Benoit Chauvet (FRA, 387 points), who like last year, was runner up in the overall standings. Toni Liver’s victory in the final competition lifted the Swiss skier onto third place in the overall standings with 268 points.

On the ladies’ side, Holly Brooks (USA) who lead until the final competition, was outpaced by Mannima who took her second overall FIS Marathon Cup victory after 2012/13. She won with 496 points ahead of Aurelie Dabudyk (FRA, 484 points) and Brooks (481 points).
