COC: Dawid Kubacki wins again
Dawid Kubacki was also the best in the second Continental Cup competition at this weekend in Kranj (SLO).
The 25-year-old Pole showed jumps on 107 m and 111.5 m and with 246.3 points he could repeat his win from Saturday, even if it was a lot closer this time.
Local hero Peter Prevc, third on Saturday, was not able to defend his lead after the first round in the final and finished second overall with 109 m and 106 m and a total of 245.1 points.
Prevc' teammate Anze Lanisek, who was disqualified yesterday because his suit was not compliant to the rules, took the third place with two consistent jumps on 105 m and 105.5 m (237.4 points).
Behind Norwegian Daniel Andre Tande (4th), Miran Zupancic came in fifth and completed the great result of the Slovenes in this home competition.
Karl Geiger, second on Saturday, could not achieve another podium result, but in sixth he was still by far the best German. Like already on Saturday, Markus Schiffner was again the best Austrian in seventh.
For the two Czechs Lukas Hlava (8th) and Jakub Janda (9th), and Poland's Bartlomiej Klusek (10th) the first competition weekend of the summer also ended with a Top 10 result.
With his two wins, Dawid Kubacki also leads the overall ranking of the COC with 200 points, Peter Prevc follows in second with 140 points, Karl Geiger is third (120 points).
