The start field of this year’s Blink Festival 2015 is packed with big names of Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon. There will athletes who have won 64 medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun and Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti. Blink festival is the biggest summer ski festival, which takes place in Sandnes and Lysebotn this week, from 30th July – 1st August.

In addition to Norwegian top athletes Therese Johaug, Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen, Petter Northug, Ingvild Flugstad Østberg, Martin Johnsrud Sundby or Sjur Røthe there will be athletes from 13 countries taking part. The international start field is represented by Calle Halfvarsson, Alexander Legkov, Maurice Manificat or Kerttu Niskanen just to name some. National teams of France, Italy and ladie’s team of Finland are lined up for the Blink 2015.

The famous rollerski competition Lysebotn Up will be featuring in all categories almost 800 skiers. In total, there will be 1030 participants in the Blink Festival 2015 and some 2000 kids are going to try rollerskiing at the kids camp in Sandnes.
