Czech Cross-Country Skier Eva Vrabcova-Nyvltova is in great summer shape. On Saturday, 6th September she set a national record in 10.000 m in the time of 33:07 min at Birell Grand Prix in Prague.

“I knew I was in a good shape. Last week before the race I had had some running limitations and I took part in the race after rollerski training block,” Nyvltova said. The time was only 7 seconds back from the B limit for the IAAF World Championships.

Nyvltova is aiming at even longer distance and next year should would like run a marathon. “I would like to try Prague Marathon. It will be my first such experience. I don’t speculate about the time,” she concluded.
