With the longest jump of the day on 103.5 m in the first and 96.5 m in the second round, the Japanese scored 237.1 points and came in ahead of her teammate Yuki Ito and Austrian Jacqueline Seifriedsberger.

Ito came in 9.5 points behind the winner and got closer to her teammate than recently with jumps on 99.5 m and 93.5 m. She said afterwards: "My technique is not perfect at the moment, but I'm very satisfied with my results here in Almaty. The organization was great, the only problem was the changing wind."

Seifriedsberger on the podium

Seifriedsberger jumped on 96 m and 95.5 m for a total of 219.8 points. The Austrian told: "My jumps were very good. It has been a while since my last podium result and it feels great. It went a lot better than yesterday."

The fourth place went to Norway's Maren Lundby. With jumps on 97.5 m and 91.5 m and 218.0 points it was a good Grand Prix final for her. French Julia Clair came in on a good sixth place with 210.0 points, 2.2 points behind, Katja Pozun was the best Slovene in seventh.

Jahr misses Top 10

Behind Line Jahr, Julia Kykkaenen and Yuka Seto, Austrian Elisabeth Raudaschl finished on a good 15th place. Also Daniela Haralambie of Romania could be more than satisfied with her 18th place.

German champion Juliane Seyfarth was 20th and probably still has some work to do before the start of the World Cup season early December.

Takanashi with perfect streak

Sara Takanashi already secured the overall title of the Grand Prix before the final competition. The 18-year-old took this title with the maximum of 500 points, clearly ahead of her teammate Yuki Ito (350 points) and US American Nita Englund, who moved up to the podium on the final stretch of the series with 209 points.
