Roman Koudelka ahead at Czech championships

Only a day after the final of the FIS Grand Prix in Hinzenbach on Sunday, the athletes of the Czech Republic competed in their national championships on Monday.

Roman Koudelka, 13th in Hinzenbach, took the win on the large hill in Liberec with the longest jumps in both rounds on 122.5 m and 137 m and a total of 261.1 points. "I'm very satisfied, tomorrow I will relax and then I'll start training again", the winner is quoted on the website of the Czech Ski Association.

Under, especially in the final round, difficult wind conditions on the Jested, the second place went to Lukas Hlava, who jumped on 120.5 m and 131 m and scored 250.2 points. Clearly behind the two best athletes on this day, Jan Matura finished third with 115.5 m and 127 m (228.5 points).

Behind fourth-placed Cestmir Kozisek, Tomas Vancura came in fifth with 118.5 m and 115 m and 217.8 points and clearly won the Junior's title ahead of Tomas Portyk (107 m and 112.5 m; 186.1 points) and Filip Sakala (115 m and 103.5 m; 182.8 points).
