The start of the snowboard competition season in the Northern Hemisphere season usually takes place in the Netherlands.
Although being a country without any mountains, the indoor facility of SnowWorld Landgraaf provides perfect conditions for different early season competitions.
After the first Europa Cup parallel races staged mid of October, SnowWorld will also host this EC season's first slopestyle comps on November 4th and 5th.
As more than 100 athletes did enter last year's contest, a strong, deep and big field is again to be expected this year.
Especially as the format is quite special due to the limited space of an indoor slope.
Athletes will get two runs each on a kicker and a rail line with the best one each to be added together for a final result.
With some of the world's finest having attended one of the SnowWorld's previous editions, it's very likely that some up-and-coming talents will pave their way for a World Cup career in Landgraaf during exciting competitions again.
