Green light for Continental Cup opener
Good news also for the Continental Cup athletes who will start their season with the traditional US Opener in Park City and Soldier Hollow. Snow controller Alan Johnson just gave green light for the events in terms of the snow situation.
„The HS 106 ski jumping hill at Utah Olympic Park has been open now for two weeks in perfect condition. There has been cross-country skiing in Park City for about the same time with tracks of about about 6-8 kms with about 15-20 cm natural snow.
Soldier Hollow has not much natural snow but currently has 1.5 km on machine snow and expect to have 2.5 km on arrival of teams.“
In short: at the moment the organisers expect to have all events as scheduled. The program features three Individual Gundersen events on the 11th, 12th and 13th of December.
