How were these numbers counted?
- Every World Cup and stage World Cup win is equal
- In pursuit competitions the winner is the athlete who first crosses the finish line (the athlete with the fastest time gets the best FIS points, but it does not count as a World Cup win)
The exception to the above is the last stage of tour world cups (Ruka Triple, Tour de Ski, World Cup Final, Ski Tour Canada) - The winner of the last stage is the athlete with the fastest time - gets the World Cup win. The first athlete in the finish is the winner of the tour - and this win counts as one 1 World Cup win.
In history (in the first Tour de Ski) the athlete had to finish the Tour to keep the World Cup points won during the Tour. Now if the athletes completes a Tour or not the athlete retains their World Cup points.
