Peter Prevc took Slovenian national title

Like recently in the World Cup, Peter Prevc was also unbeatable in the Slovenian large hill championships on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old, who won the last three World Cup competitions in a row, showed the best jumps in both rounds in Planica with 136 m and 135 m and took the title with 271.3 points.

The second place went to Anze Lanisek, who jumped on 135 m and 130 m and scored a total of 259.0 points. Domen Prevc finished third with his jumps on 131 m and 132.5 m and 252.8 points.

Jurij Tepes (127 m / 127.5 m; 235.6 points), Anze Semenic (126 m / 127 m; 232.4 points) and Tilen Bartol (127.5 m / 125 m; 231.0 points) came in on the places four to six.

The title in the ladies' competition went to Ema Klinec, with jumps on 121 m and 123.5 m (215.1 points), followed by Eva Logar (122 m / 118.5 m; 204.4 points) and Maja Vtic (118.5 m /123 m; 200.2 points).

The men's team competition was almost a family matter for the Prevc family. Together with Ziga Jelar, the three brothers Peter, Domen and Cene took a clear win and won the title for the SK Triglav Kranj with a total of 985.6 points. SSK Sam Ihan (Jure Sinkovec, Miha Kveder, Jernej Damjan, Tilen Bartol; 899.4 points) came in second, followed by SK Zagorje (Rok Juvancic, Ernest Prislic, Miran Zupancic, Andraz Pograjc; 788.4 points) in third.

Seven Slovenes to the 4-Hills

The Slovenian team for the 4-Hills-Tournament was announced by head coach Goran Janus already before this championships at a press conference. In addition to the jumpers, who were competing in Engelberg last weekend, Peter Prevc, Anze Lanisek, Domen Prevc, Jurij Tepes, Robert Kranjec and Anze Semenic, Tilen Bartol will also participate in the 4-Hills-Tournament. The 18-year-old is currently leading the Continental Cup and earned the seventh quota spot for Slovenia.
