

Sara Takanashi continues her impressive winning series with the second victory of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Ladies in Hinzenbach. With jumps to 98,0 and 90,0 metres and 260,1 points, no one could beat Takanashi`s tenth victory in a row. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and Jaqueline Seifriedsberger jumped to the second and third place and completed a successful competition weekend at home for the Austrian team.
The Japanese afterwards: “I am really happy and I enjoyed jumping today a lot, this weather was really nice. Now I am looking forward to Ljubno already.”
Iraschko-Stolz, fourth after the first round, could finish second for the sixth time this season with jumps to 88,5 and 90,0 metres. Iraschko-Stolz explained:” I am satisfied with my performance. I am still making some small mistakes, but that´s normal when you want to get back in good shape. My knee still feels bad, but I can accept that.”
Jaqueline Seifriedsberger finished with 90,0 and 88,0 metres and was happy about her second podium of this season with 240,3 points. Seifriedsberger: ”It´s a special feeling for me to be on the podium for the first time in front of my home crowd. I am really enjoying this.”
Norwegian´s Maren Lundby missed her fourth podium with jumps to 90,5 and 88,0 metres. Ema Klinec was best Slovene again as fifth with 86,5 and 90,0 metres with 236,9 points. Her team mate Maja Vtic followed her by only 1,2 points as sixth. The Russian Irina Avvakumova continued her successful results with 229,6 points, finishing seventh. Spela Rogelj (228,3 points) in eigth place and Katja Pozun and Ursa Bogataj completed a successful Slovenian team performance, finishing 11th and 12th. Nita Englund could jump to a top ten place for the US-team with finishing ninth with 225,5 points. Chiara Hölzl completed the top ten and the strong Austrian team performance.
While Canada´s Taylor Henrich was satisfied with her 13th, the German team had to accept a backward development again after better results on Saturday. Anna Rupprecht jumped to 14thplace, Juliane Seyfarth and Carina Vogt had to be satisfied with the places 16 and 17, following the Italian Elena Runggaldier.
The Japanese team is still strongly relying on the performance of Sara Takanashi. Yuka Seto finished 18th, Yuki Ito jumped to place 20 together with the French Julia Clair and Germany´s Agnes Reisch. Julia Kykkänen collected World Cup points with finishing 28th and Zdenka Pesatova jumped to place 29 for the Czech team.
Sara Takanashi increased her lead in the overall World Cup standing with 1180 points now. Second is Daniela Iraschko-Stolz with 809 points. Maja Vtic is third with 538 points. The strong team performance of the Austrian team got them into the lead of the Nation´s Cup with 2009 points now, getting ahead of the Japanese team. Sara Takanashi and her team mates follow with 1927 points, staying ahead of the Slovenian team with 1511 points.
The next competition will be a home match for the Slovenian team in Ljubno on the next weekend.
