With the freestyle snowboard decisions in store, it's now time for the alpine snowboard and snowboard cross talents of the world to battle for gold, silver and bronze.

Over the next couple of days, Rogla, Slovenia will play host to the speed discipline decisions of the 20th FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships.

Things kick off this weekend with the parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom races while the up-and-coming snowboard cross riders will battle for glory beginning of next week.

The first chapters of this season's major event for the world's finest youngsters took place at Seiser Alm, Italy where a slopestyle and big air event was staged.
