Two weeks after the preparation for the new season started for the jumpers, the Slovenian Ski Association announced the team nominations for 2016/17.

Next to high flyer Peter Prevc, Robert Kranjec, Jurij Tepes, Anze Semenic, Anze Lanisek, Jaka Hvala, Jernej Damjan and Nejc Dezman were named to the A-Team of head coach Goran Janus. Also on the team will be 16-year-old Domen Prevc, but he shall continue to train mainly in the Nordic Center in Kranj.

The B-Team, coached by Igor Medved, consists of Matjaz Pungertar, Tomaz Naglic, Miran Zupancic, Andraz Pograjc, Rok Justin, Ernest Prislic and Cene Prevc, who will train with the A-Team. Jure Sinkovec, on the other hand, has A-Team status, but will still train with the B-Team.
