The Italian Winter Sports Federation has announced the 2016/2017 Italian National Cross Country Ski Team.

The team will be broken up into World Cup, A and B/U25 teams, with a total of 24 athletes being named to the various squads. The men's World Cup Team will consist only of 2 athletes in Francesco De Fabiani and Federico Pellegrino, while Virginia De Martin Topranin will the the lone woman on the World Cup Team.

Another 4 men and 4 women have been named to the A Team, while the B/U25 Team will consist of 8 men and 6 women. 2016/2017 Italian National Cross Country Ski Team Men's A World Cup
