The summer season 2016 starts with a real highlight for the ski jumpers. The first competitions of the summer will be held at the FIS Continental Cup in Kranj (SLO).

Traditionally the organizers of the season opener in Kranj expect a high class field of competitors.

Last year overall World Cup winner Peter Prevc and his brother Cene were among those competing in front of the many spectators. But none of the Prevc brothers was able to take the win in either of the competitions, Poland's Dawid Kubacki was the best on both days.
