FIS Rollerski World Cup gets underway this weekend

On 1st July 2016, the FIS Rollerski World Cup will kick off. This season, the event will feature four stages: Oroslavje (CRO), Solleftea (SWE), Madona (LAT) and Trento (ITA)

The FIS Sub-Committee for Roller Skiing has balanced the season’s competition programme well with uphill and distance competitions both in classic (50%) and free (50%) technique as well as sprint races.

What’s new?

For the first time, the World Cup includes a stage event in Madonna (LAT) consisting of a sprint free, an interval start in classic technique and a pursuit in free technique.
