Czech Cross-Country skier on a break Eva Vrabcova-Nyvltova showed her running strength at the European in Amsterdam. Vrabcova-Nyvltova took 8th place in the half-marathon in the time of 1:12:01.

“I’m really happy,” Nyvltova said. “I had hoped to be closer to my personal best but the experience from the competition is excellent,” she added. Vrabcova-Nyvltova decided to put Cross-Country skiing on hold and focus on track and field, mainly marathon.

In the spring she qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio. “I have still a lot of work ahead of me, but there is still some time left,” she concluded.
