FIS Grass Ski Junior World Championships underway in Dizin

The FIS Grass Ski Junior World Championships have had a positive start in Dizin (IRI).

38 participants from eight nations are currently fighting for medals in the season’s highlight event for young Grass Skiing talents.

It is the second time after 2010 that the experienced FIS Grass Ski World Cup host is welcoming the world’s best youngsters born between 1995-2000.

The Championships kicked off with an Opening Ceremony on 26th July 2016 followed by super combined races for both genders which were won by Kristin Hetfleisch (AUT) and Martin Bartak (CZE).

The Championships will continue with slalom and giant slalom races and conclude with a super-G on Friday, 29th July 2016.
