While it's summer time in the Northern Hemisphere and the first World Cup event still more than four months away, it's time for riders down under to strap in again.

Over the next couple of days, it's not only the Australian snowboard cross championships which are on the agenda but also the first stop of the Australian New Zealand Continental Cup series stage in Mt Hotham, too. 

However, reigning champs Belle Brockhoff and dual world champion Alex Pullin are keen to keep hold to their titles.

Finals of the nationals will take place August 6th, 2016.
