After Amelie Kober and Isabella Laböck have already been sidelined from the first World Cup races due to an injury, Snowboard Germany know has to handle another loss of their so far pretty strong women's raceboard team.

SnowKidz is the first phase of the Bring Children to the Snow campaign that started in 2009, The project is proving vital to provide many best practices for staging events that bring children to the snow. In 2012, the success of the SnowKidz activities gave rise to the World Snow Day concept with the 4th edition that took place on 18th January 2015, seeing 645 events in 45 countries.
