FIS SnowKidz surpasses 1000 events

SnowKidz is the first phase of the Bring Children to the Snow campaign that started in 2009, The project is proving vital to provide many best practices for staging events that bring children to the snow. In 2012, the success of the SnowKidz activities gave rise to the World Snow Day concept with the 4th edition that took place on 18th January 2015, seeing 645 events in 45 countries.

World Cup women’s slalom leader Mikaela Shiffrin was forced to skip today’s GS in Are, Sweden, after suffering an injury to her right knee sustained in a crash while freeskiing on the race slope during warmup.
Season over for Sara Hector

Sara Hector suffered a serious injury to her left knee in Saturday's World Cup giant slalom race in Åre, Sweden. She is waiting to undergo surgery and will unfortunately miss the rest of the season.
