Spain's Carolina Ruiz Castillo announced her retirement from professional ski racing at the end of the season. In a press release of the Spanish Winter Sports Federation, the 33-year-old explained that the national championships from 29 to 31 of March in Baqueira-Beret (ESP), in the heart of the Pyrenees, will be her last races.
