It is now official who will get the chance to compete in the qualification for the normal hill competition on Friday, and who won't. Austrian Andreas Kofler and, surprisingly, also Germany's Markus Eisenbichler are among those who will not take part in the first competition of the WSC.

Vasaloppet's Winter Week February 27 – March 8 2015 will be a ski festival on par with a world championship. 7,615 foreign skiers from 51 nations, and all continents, are registered for the Winter Week! That is a record number of international participants.

Fannemel wins qualification with amazing flight

With an amazing jump on 246 m Anders Fannemel won the qualification on the huge hill in Vikersund. Fannemel landed only 0.5 m short of the world record held by his fellow countryman Johan Remen Evensen. With 223.4 points the Norwegian came in ahead of his teammate Andreas Stjernen and Japanese Daiki Ito.
Season end for Isabella Laboeck

German raceboarder Isabella Laboeck has been forced to an early season end after an injury suffered in the World Cup race at Sudelfeld, Germany, last weekend turned out worth than expected at first.
