According to a webstory on www.bbc.co.uk, 2014 Olympic slopestyle Bronze medallist Jenny Jones (GBR) will start a new radio show on BBC Radio 5 live on Thursday, October 23. 
Matthias Mayer injured in training

Matthias Mayer, the Austrian downhill Olympic Champion from Sochi 2014 has suffered a has suffered a medial ligament tear in his right knee and a bruised spine after a fall earlier today during giant slalom training on the Pitztal Glacier. Mayer will not be at the start of the World Cup Opener in Soelden. 
Falun officially ready to go ‚Beyond Expectations

The meetings and presentations are finished and now it is full speed ahead for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, as Falun (SWE) was given the green light from the FIS Coordination Group following the Final Inspection on Monday 12th and Tuesday, 13th October 2014.

Bernhard Gruber dominates Austrian nationals

Veteran Bernhard Gruber has been the dominating athlete at the Austrian nationals on the large and normal hill the past Thursday and this Sunday but behind the 32-year-old, the podium spots were up for grabs among the youngsters of the team. Thursday’s competition at Bergisel, Innsbruck and Seefeld had Gruber on one, ahead of Harald Lemmerer and Alexander Brandner and today’s event at Tschagguns and Partenen saw a podium with Gruber ahead of 18-year-old Bernhard Flaschberger and Lukas Greiderer.
Lukas Bauer to skip FIS Tour de Ski

Czech Cross-Country skiing star Lukas Bauer confirmed he would not start in the the 9th edition of the FIS Tour de Ski. The triple Olympic Games medalist and the FIS Tour de Ski winner from 2008 and 2010 decided to focus solely on the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in February 2015.
