Devin Logan stays unbeaten as France sweep the men's podium at Halfpipe World Cup in New Zealand

Jubilant French skiers made sporting history at Audi quattro Winter Games NZ 2015 today by dominating the Halfpipe World Cup finals. In the ladies event Devin Logan clinched the first place ahead of the Kiwis’ favourite Janina Kuzma and Ayana Onozuka of Japan.

It was with perfect conditions through and through that Norway received the Austrian Nordic Combined team which just returned from an eight-day training camp in the north. Many jumping sessions and roller-ski kilometres were completed at the first stop Lillehammer before the team changed locations to Oslo.

While David Kubacki (POL) won the competitions in Wisla (POL) and Hinterzarten (GER), reigning FIS World Cup Champion Severin Freund (GER) took the victory in Courchevel (FRA) and followed up with a victory in Einsiedeln (SUI).

Poland’s multi-time Olympic and World Championship medallist, Justyna Kowalczyk, beat all the skiers, male or female, in the 29th edition of Argentina’s Marchablanca on Sunday August 16th, 2015. Second place overall and first place for men went to Argentina’s Carlos Lannes at 5 seconds back.
