Czech Cross-Country Skier Eva Vrabcova-Nyvltova is in great summer shape. On Saturday, 6th September she set a national record in 10.000 m in the time of 33:07 min at Birell Grand Prix in Prague.

Kenneth Gangnes won the FIS Grand Prix competition in Chaikovsky, Russia. With jumps on 103.5 m and 99.5 m, the Norwegian scored a total of 254.1 points, in the competition that was moved from the large to the normal hill today, and came in ahead of Robert Kranjec and his teammate Joachim Hauer.

Local hero Johannes Rydzek has done it again. With 13 seconds to second-ranked Akito Watabe, he had time to celebrate his eighth triumph at his home venue of Oberstdorf.

Different venue, different weather, same winner: as in Oberwiesenthal but in considerably colder and wetter weather, Japan’s Akito Watabe has taken the win in the Provisional Competition Round again.

The Audi quattro Winter Games New Zealand closed in style with the Snowboard halfpipe and Freestyle Ski slopestyle finals last weekend.

Austrian Mario Seidl delighted his fellow Austrians on location in Tschagguns, Montafon with the victory in the Provisional Competition Round. 105 metres which meant a (short-lived) hill record gave Seidl 125.2 points and a head start of 2 seconds on Japan’s Akito Watabe who showed a sample of his jumping strength once more.
