Kamil Stoch of Poland took his 27th World Cup win on Sunday in Lahti (FIN). With an impressive performance, Stoch came in 28.2 points ahead of second-placed Markus Eisenbichler of Germany.

Federica Brignone repeated her performance from last season with an impressive slalom run to claim her second career alpine combined victory at Crans-Montana, Switzerland on Sunday. Skiing from fifth place after the super-G run and 0.91 seconds off the lead, the Italian attacked Mont Lachaux with the third fastest slalom run to take the narrow 0.03 seconds win over Michelle Gisin.

Krista Parmakoski of Finland and Kazakhstan's Alexey Poltoranin won the 10/15 km interval start competitions in classic technique at the 2018 Lahti Ski Games.

 Tess Johnson (USA) and Ikuma Horishima (JPN) claimed victories in dual moguls on the second day of back-to-back competitions at the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup event in Tazawako while Mikael Kingsbury secured his seventh consecutive moguls crystal globe.
