The weather finally gave us a break and the final competition of the Mammoth Mountain Grand Prix/World Cup weekend went down without a hitch on Sunday, with Yuki Tsubota (CAN) and Joss Christensen (USA) claiming slopestyle victory on the big Mammoth Unbound course.

Kelly Clark (USA) and Ryo Aono (JPN) claimed victory at this season's second halfpipe World Cup event, staged at Mammoth Mountain (USA) today and took over the lead in the race for the Crystal Globe.

Stefan Kraft won the World Cup competition in Zakopane with two jumps of 133 m and 307.3 points. Together with Michael Hayboeck he secured a double victory for Austria. Third place went to Peter Prevc (SLO).

The debut as a World Cup host of Mammoth Mountain, CA wrapped up with two career's firsts today: Anna Gyarmati (HUN) and local hero Brandon Davis (USA) claimed their first ever World Cup wins in impressive manner in Unbound's famed Main Park which provided a course consisting of a three-rail jibbing section and a three-kicker line at the end and therefore offered a lot of room for creativity.

Setback for German team veteran Björn Kircheisen. He suffered a rupture of a muscle fibre in his hamstring during the team’s training in Seefeld and had to take a break afterwards.
