During the opening weekend of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup races, a multitude of press conferences prepared the media for the upcoming season.

As has become a tradition, the Forum Alpinum, the season opening information session for the Alpine media took place on 23rd October, the day before the opening of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup 2015/16 season in Soelden (AUT).

The 7th IOC International Athletes’ Forum concluded on 10th October 2015 in Lausanne (SUI) with a set of recommendations aimed empowering Athletes’ Commissions at all levels, which will be presented to the IOC Executive Board in December.

FIS has released a new World Cup Organising Manual for use across all disciplines. From sport competition to event production, it will serve as a resource to support the development of any World Cup, ensuring operational consistency in the planning and execution.
