In the challenging ladies' super-G race on Monday, 19 racers didn't cross the finish line. Among them Italy's Daniela Merighetti, Switzerland's Dominique Gisin and France's Marion Rolland unfortunately suffered injuries in high speed crashes.

Reigning PGS world champion Benjamin Karl (AUT) wrote on his online blog that he recently got a frustrating MRI result. The doctors diagnosed a spinal disc herniation, the reason for his problems in his left foot he suffered over the past weeks.
