Stockholm prepared for 2019 World Cup on heels of Åre World Championships

Members of the World Cup Stockholm organizing committee and city officials met with FIS staff on 4 July at the site of the 2019 event at Hammarbybacken to establish a plan for preparing the race slope and arena and tackling other organizational logistics in the upcoming season.

The Viessmann Group, one of the leading international manufacturers of energy systems from Allendorf (GER), became a main sponsor for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld (AUT) and 2021 in Oberstdorf (GER).

Austrian Ski Federation meets in Bad Aussee

The Styrian town of Bad Aussee hosted the 83rd General Assembly of the Austrian Ski Federation last weekend. The daytime session was dedicated to a working meeting, while the following gala evening was the chance to honour the best athletes of the season and say goodbye to those who announced their retirement.

Lake Louise inspection goes off without a hitch, or a bear

Coop joins FIS Cross Country World Cup as title sponsor
