Multifaceted TD Seminar in Seefeld

As in every uneven year, the Nordic Combined TD Seminar also took place in 2015, bringing all active technical delegates of the discipline of Nordic Combined together in Seefeld, Austria to get an update on rule changes, educate new candidates and compare practical work and experiences from the past two seasons.
World Cup Calendar fixed

The up-coming World Cup calendar got traditionally confirmed at the FIS Spring meetings, which took place in Varna, Bulgaria last week. Race boarders can look forward to a total of twelve races taking place at well-known places of which two are team events.

The World Cup Organisers Seminar, attended by nearly 200 participants, was one of the highlights of the recently concluded Spring Meetings in Varna (BUL) and featured a wide array of speakers that touched on how to bring more value to events.

Thirteen athletes were elected to the FIS Athletes’ Commission 2015-2017 by their peers during the FIS World Championships 2015 for a two-year term. The official announcement of the members who will represent the athletes within FIS was made following the FIS Council Meeting on 7th June:

The FIS Council held its Spring Meeting at the Hotel International in Varna (BUL) on Sunday 7th June 2015 and dealt with a full agenda, including regular items such as reports from Organising Committees of the FIS World Championships, the appointment of technical officials, proposals from the FIS Technical Committees, FIS World Cup calendars and updates to various rules.

Exciting summer ahead for Nordic Combined

The FIS Calendar Conference in Varna concluded with a small number of modifications to the Summer Grand Prix and World Cup calendars and also to the existing rule set in Nordic Combined. Many of the decisions will see their first practical use or a test phase during the Summer Grand Prix.
