Today, 11th September the Russian national ski-cross team returns to Russia after a long training camp in South America.

The first in a history of the Russian sport Nordic Combined women training camp took place.

Last Friday, women's competitions of the South American Cup finished at La Parve.

The Russian Anastasia Voronina earned silver medal in sprint competitions at the World Championship in roller skis. 

Yesterday, 4th September, two downhill competitions were held at La Parve (Chili) as a part of the South American Open Cup.

The Summer Grand Prix finals in Oberstdorf provided a nail-biting, down-to-the-wire, dramatic conclusion. In the end, a long shot became a reality when Austrian Bernhard Gruber and Japanese Akito Watabe tied for the Summer Grand Prix overall title and will now share the "King of the Summer" honours for 2013.

The Russian Alpine Skier Alexander Glebov successfully competed in the South American Cup in La Parve and earned "bronze".

The Russian alpine skier Ksenia Alopina took her third place at FIS competition in slalom in New Zealand Treble Cone.

The Grass Ski World Championships are just a week away and will be held a world away for many of the competitors as the event will be held in Shichikashuku (JPN) from September 3rd-8th. It marks a return of the event to Japan after a 26 year hiatus, when Nagano last hosted the competition in 1987. 

The Russian alpine skier Yelena Yakovishina took part in official FIS competitions in Super-G and Combination.
