Holmlund and Delbosco triumph in first of Val Thorens Audi ski cross back-to-backs

The first of this weekend's back-to-back races at the annual Val Thorens stop on the Audi FIS ski cross World Cup tour took place on Friday on the gruelling Jean Frederic Chapuis course, with the thrilling racing we've come to expect from the iconic French venue resulting in Anna Holmlund (SWE) taking victory on the ladies' side and Chris Del Bosco (CAN) making it two-for-two on the season with a win for the men.

The second Individual Gundersen event in Lillehammer went to Norway’s Magnus Krog. In the end it was just one second that divided the winner of the day from second-placed Fabian Rießle from Germany. The remaining spot on the podium was taken up by Lukas Klapfer from Austria who finished 1.9 seconds later.
