Team SUI1 with Olympic Champion Patrizia Kummer and Olympic Silver medallist Nevin Galmarini have claimed victory at the season's second Parallel Team Event (PSL) which was staged on the Bucheben slope in Bad Gastein, Austria today.

Last year's Tour de Ski champion Therese Johaug of Norway finally won her first stage of this years Tour. Stage 6 saw the ladies' competing in the 10 km classic mass start event in Val di Fiemme, Italy. 

Sara Takanashi won the first of two World Cup competitions in Sapporo. The overall World Cup winner of Japan took a clear win with jumps on 97 m and 98 m and a total of 249.9 points ahead of Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and Spela Rogelj.

The Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup tour got back into action in grand fashion with men’s and ladies’ races in Val Thorens (FRA).

It was the best World Cup aerials event since 2005 for the US aerials team, and the best one-day result for the US women since 1989, as three US athletes made the podium at the Deer Valley aerials World Cup on Thursday night in front of a huge hometown crowd.

Norway's Marit Bjoergen has gone 4 for 4 with her victory today in the 5 km classic competition in the Tour de Ski. With her win here today in Toblach, Italy she has increased her overall lead in the Tour to 1:34.3 over her teammate Heidi Weng in second place. Therese Johaug also of Norway sits in third +2:16.5. 

Alexey Poltoranin of Kazakhstan has won stage 4 of the Tour de Ski in Toblach, Italy. It was Poltoranin's second stage World Cup victory here in Toblach. He also won the 5 km C in the Tour de Ski in 2013. 

There is a new/old Snow Queen in Zagreb this year as Mikaela Shiffrin put together two flawless runs to win her second crown at the Croatian race. 

On a chilly, overcast day at Calgary's Canada Olympic Park, the host nation had a huge day while the two top athletes in Freestyle were back to their old ways, with the Canadians scoring four podiums and Hannah Kearney (USA) and Mikael Kingsbury (CAN) stepping up to claim moguls victories in dominant fashion.
