During the IF Forum the seven International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (IFs) Presidents and Secretary Generals met the IOC Candidate Cities and Sports Departments to address the process and involvement of the IFs during the candidacy phase.

The Organising Committee for the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 (POCOG) has announced a surplus of at least 55 million US dollars (61.9 billion Korean Won) while presenting its final report at the 133^rd IOC Session.   

The Olympic family assembled in Buenos Aires (ARG) for a series of activities surrounding the third edition of the Youth Olympic Games. Buenos Aires will include a total of 12 days packed with elite summer sport competitions, in addition to numerous  activities and meetings taking place. 

During the third International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission meeting (17-18 September), the Beijing Organising Committee expanded on plans to leverage the Olympic Winter Games 2022 to leave a legacy for tomorrow.

Beijing Sports University (BSU) invited FIS Secretary General Sarah Lewis to teach two groups of students at the BSU Winter Sports Seminar taking place in the French city of Chateauroux this week.
