Janka dominant in front of home crowd

The first competition of the Kreischberg 2013 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships took place on Thursday night, as Laura Peel was able to navigate a crash-filled ladies' super final to take a surprise gold on the ladies' side while Qi Guangpu (CHN) was able to defend his world champion title in men's competition. 
Aerials competition first up for Kreischberg World Championships

Hansdotter picks up second career win at Flachau

Flachau, Austria – More than 15'000 spectators flocked into town on Tuesday evening for the 5th night slalom race staged in the famed ski resort. Sweden's Frida Hansdotter took advantage of a 0.23 second lead from the first run to remain in first place after a very solid second run under the floodlights.
Sundby repeats and Bjoergen finally captures Tour de Ski title

Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR) and Marit Bjoergen (NOR) have won the 2015 Viessmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Craft Sportswear. For Sundby it was a repeat of last year, but for Bjoergen it was her first ever win.

Switzerland – In the first run of Sunday's slalom German Fritz Dopfer made good use of his bib number and crossed the finish line in 56.21 seconds, a time unbeaten by skiers who came down the Kaunisbergli after him.
Sara Takanashi wins again

Sara Takanashi also won the second World Cup competition in Sapporo (JPN). With a strong jump in the final round, the 18-year-old moved up from seventh to first and came in ahead of Carina Vogt and Austrian Chiara Hoelzl.
Dufour-Lapointe and Kingsbury cap Deer Valley weekend in style

The final event of a stacked FIS Freestyle weekend took place under the lights at Utah's Deer Valley Resort, with a thrilling dual moguls competition that saw Justine Dufour-Lapointe (CAN) and Mikael Kingsbury walk away with victories, yellow moguls leader bibs, and trophies for winning the respective men's and ladies' athlete of the weekend accolades.
Germany's Tim Tscharnke wins 15 km classic in photo finish

In the closest competition of the season with 5 men separated by just 0.7 seconds it was Tim Tscharnke of Germany who came out on top. In a photo finish with Kazakhstan's Alexey Poltoranin, Tscharnke recorded his first World Cup victory since Canmore in December 2012. Just +0.4 behind in third was Dario Cologna of Switzerland.
