When the Nordic Combined elite convenes for one last time in 2015 for the traditional pre-Christmas World Cup in Ramsau am Dachstein, everybody will be dealt a new hand of cards. Moving from the Scandinavian large hills in Ruka and Lillehammer to the comparatively small HS 98 normal hills in the Austrian venue usually brings the stronger skiers to the fore.

Despite the continuing mild temperatures the organizing committee in Engelberg gave the green light for the World Cup before Christmas (December 19th and 20th) and the Continental Cup on the following weekend.

As of now, it looks like the third competition weekend of the season can be held. Snow controller Robert Krautgartner gave green light after an inspection of the facilities today.
